Brown's Bay beach on Islandmagee is a true hidden gem! We came for the evening and had the beach virtually to ourselves. Beautifully clear water and a long sandy beach. Great hill walk. Our children had their little surf boards with them and they thoroughly...More

A lovely depot at the northern end of Islandmagee: coupled with a drive around the peninsula makes for a great day out if staying anywhere in the Belfast area.

Nice on a sunny or windy day. Plenty of good parking and a great place for a walk. Lovely beach too.

Lovely sandy beach, with beautiful views of both sea and country side. Free parking very close by which was a huge advantage with small children. Cons - dog walkers don’t always clean up after their pets, so walking on the grass can be hazardous.

A nice place to visit in the "heat of the summer" but can be very busy, especially on weekends in July and August. Car park is too small when busy. Local shop is poor and often closed. Beach itself is very safe and surrounding scenery...More
