Absolutely phenomenal meal. Great prices for finer food with a casual atmosphere. Quaint restaurant great service. Anything you chose off the menu is exceptional. Friends went there at least once a week during their 6 week stay; and go there and you will see why.

We visited this market every Saturday that we were in Huatulco and enjoyed the fresh produce, flowers, coffee, foods and the people. What a clean, relaxing, fun place to be, sipping a wonderful Pluma coffee, listening to the birds and exchanging conversations with the vendors. Lots of beautiful items to buy and see. It may not be as big as the Potchula Monday market, but cleaner and easy to get to.

I stopped there and had breakfast at one of the vendors. Then I bought some local cheese after they made me taste every cheese they had for sale. Then I found some huge squash blossoms which I stuffed with goat cheese and deep fried for dinner!
Then I found a guy making a huge pan of Paella . It had clams ,mussels, shrimp, crab, fish and for 100 pesos he gave me a huge take home box . There was enough food for two people and there were 8 jumbo shrimp ! OMG Do not miss this

Creative presentation, excellent food; personable, friendly service. Asian/Mexican fusion and local cuisine. We dinedt there 3 times in our week-long stay. Reservations recommended, as it has limited seating.

Disappointed in the size of the market. Just a couple of stands.
Most of it was what you can buy all over the small village.

Was down in Huatulco in February 2017. Was able to visit this market in the centre of Santa Cruz the third saturday. ( available the first and third saturday of each month) When we were there they had fresh veggies ( not enough but sufficient) beautiful fresh flowers , organic coffee and vanilla. I did buy a bottle of organic vanilla (500ml) for 65 pesos. Know it is cheaper than buying in Canada and better quality. If and when we return to Huatulco, hoping the market is opened and will visit it again.

We had taken a walk to Santa Cruz to wander around before the heat of the day.
Last year we had been to Cafe Huatulco in the square and were headed there when we saw a market . It seemed very authentic and more aimed to locals which makes for a good experience. There were a lot of places to enjoy wonderful food and tamales was our choice, delicious. Many choices of the local aguas.
Fresh fruits , vegetables and herbs alongside local honey and sauces.
packages of dried herbs and blossoms, coffee beans and coffee ready to enjoy
There were some crafts but this was not the predominate offering.
So lucky we had come upon this event by chance.

I like this place you have beautiful vie of the ocean ,the only bad thing in here is you really need to rent a car or a motorcycle because the distance to go to a simple store or market or restaurant is far away to walk , but if you want to walk 38 miles one way then is your option to get to the near store ,my husband and me we did the first day we were here but going down is not a big deal but coming up with groceries is hard because the hills are big hills hahaha

This only occurs every two Saturdays, but if can go, you should. It's a small mix of local producers who sell fresh fruits and vegetables, pastries, tamales, drinks, etc.
nice people, great prices!

Really a nice market. A nice variety of goods for sale. The market is well managed and is well worth a visit. Opens at 9 and closes at 3 pm. Live entertainment after 12 noon.
