This is a beautiful lighthouse, very tiny, but all throughout the house and grounds there is history to be explored. It has a cute little shop with many local crafts. In fact, I bought more here than anywhere else on the island. There are also treats to buy if you are so inclined, we did not partake. The actual light is tiny and there may be a wait, depending on the times at which you arrive. We went early in the day. The grounds are also beautiful and would be perfect for a picnic on a nice day.

We stopped here on our way to Digby. A nice spot to few the scenery and take a breath. The gift shop is interesting and the lady that was there running it was also very nice. There is a little tea room on the main level. You are allowed to go upstairs. There were quilts on display and then the stairs to go to the very top. You were allowed to go at your own risk. They were very steep so opted not to go. The view was still very good without going up to the top.,

If you are in the area make this trip!! A beautiful setting and lighthouse road has places to park so if it is low tide you can walk out on the Bay of Fundy. The lighthouse is free but takes donations and you can walk a few narrow steps up to the light for a great view. A gift shop and a cute tea room. A well informed volunteer on site to answer questions. Would recommend!

A lovely spot to stop, have a picnic, stretch the legs, and beachcomb. I think you can go into the building when it is open but we didn’t go in so can’t comment on that.

Well worth the short drive over to the lighthouse. Also has a nice picnic area and parking lot. The museum section is full of local interest and the gift shop sells crafts by local artisans.
