Beautiful gorge in Greece, very lush vegetation. Some Palmtrees I've seen there I've never seen elsewhere in Greece. It looks more ke a tropical garden, than in Greece. 2 hrs. Down and 2hrs. Up, so not a hike for the heat of the summer.

It was not so easy as told, I kept walking for 3,5 hours although I'm an experienced walker. I walked through Samaria gorge in the same time and it was easy walking. You have to slide and climb and stay focused all the time not to loose the track but I loved it all the time. I went there by... More

Drove down to the beach in a small hire car with automatic gears which was very doable. Need to be a confident driver but we didn't have an issue just forced the car into first gear! Road is concrete pretty much all the way down Gorge walk was easy some scrambling and a lot of water crossings but children wouldn't... More

Muddy April and intense rain are definitely not the best time and condition to hike the Gorge. But still it was a lot of fun and some adrenalin. Started from the very beginning and walked down to the bridge. Picked right from trees some oranges and clementines on our way: was really deliciuos. Further some unexpectedly dirty path started. Was... More

My husband and I are not in shape and really enjoyed taking our time on this hike. We made it up to the wooden stairs that come up shortly after the big waterfall and then made our 2 hour trek back to the car. Something you should not miss is the little area to pull over at the TOP of... More

Quite a challenge for people who don't usually do this kind of thing. Not really suitable for the elderly or young children. Bit of climbing and scrambling over boulders required. Many trip and twist hazards along the way. That said, it's a nice change from the relentless heat walking through mainly shade. Proper shoes or old trainers are a must, no... More

Don't park in the parking next to the road, park at the bridge, you will save a hood 28 minutes of walking. From there to the waterfall it's a path in the woods with some rocky parts, not hard but not easy, bring a big bottle of water. The views are good, and the waterfall is a good resting point... More

We were two almost 30 year olds Ith a normal condition, did the hike. Down from the bridge ( recommended ). Take a big bottle of water, sportshoes, and some cookis, and you'll be fine! Inclusive some retsing, it took us 3.5 hours to descend just to the beach, and mount back up to the car. The waterfall is lovely,... More

after a confusing start (just stick to the concrete road) the trail turns into a single track footpath that winds through the trees. very nice walk although there are some very tricky bits that would be very difficult with small children. Waterfall is stunning and worth the tricky trip down. might be easier going form the bottom up to it.
