It's a convention centre, airy, comfortable seats in theatres but not in meeting rooms. Applause for having enough toilets! We'll set up, wifi available but a bit weak.

I have just left a conference at this facility. It is without a doubt the worst convention centre I have ever attended in my 35 year business career. The food was appalling with far less than adequate provided. Patrons were directed to queues to empty baines maries by staff manning a food station with untouched food with an explanation that... The Nation's Capital has one of the worst conference facilities in Australia. I've been there a few times, this week most recently, and it is a venue that needs so much work that it's crazy to think that it's a relatively new building. I found the registration fees to always be so high - but this is because the venue... More

The convention centre was a great location for a conference. There were many rooms and theatres for break-out sessions. It was within close walking distance to accommodation venues also.

I go to a lot of conferences and have visited centres of all shapes and sizes. While the national convention centre is certainly not the largest of them all, it is a great size and is well designed with break away rooms of all shapes and sizes. The team at the centre are also extremely well organised.

John Cleese and Eric Idle were brilliant, but the facilities and parking at the National Convention Centre were abominable. Long queues for everything, no pedestrian or traffic management. Yes, it's all part of the interminable Constitution Avenue redevelopment, but even a little bit of effort would make a vast improvement. Perhaps it was just an attempt to be ridiculous in... More

Attended the food and wine expo and found the venue to be large enough, filled with natural light and well maintained. First time at the convention Centre and would be happy to come back for other events in future!

We went to a conference here - yes the place has good lecture rooms and seating. But when it came to everything else (ballroom dinners, reception and catering) the staff were not very friendly. At one point a urinal in the men's toilets got blocked, but they didn't fix it for the whole week. I heard that it smelled quite... More

I liked the place, the reception was good, the food was excellent. It is central located in Canberra.
