Regardless of your political views one can't help but be proud and impressed by this magnificent building. The vision and commitment to build such an innovative and unique Australian Parliament House is a credit to the many people involved. We took a free guided tour with 'Emma' and were so appreciative of her concise and informative presentation throughout the building... More

We had missed the guided tour and didn't want to wait for the next one but the staff were very helpful. Even the security guards and police gave us information. Superb view from the roof. We had food in the restaurant which was tasty and inexpensive. My egg and bacon roll had 2 fried eggs and 2 rashers of crispy... More

This is a beautiful looking building and seeing Canberra was amazing. Every true Australian should make the trip to Canberra to see Parliament House and the War Memorial. It makes you feel proud to be an Australian.

If you have never been to Parliament House you should and take your kids (if your lucky enough to have some). Try and sit through a bit of question time and realise the political games being played. The noise and yelling can be funny, so long as you ignore the fact these clowns are running our country. The building is... More

I went there during the enlightenment festival where they displayed lighting designs with various themes all over the Parliament's buildings. There were also food stalls and bazaar of so many varieties of food with reasonable price. Totally love the enlightenment ❤️

We did the free tour which lasted for about an hour and a half. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. After the tour we took the lift up to the roof for lovely views of the area. The building is very impressive and a MUST see when visiting Canberra

We did not do the tour, just wandered by ourselves and set our own pace. Took about an hour to view the areas open to the public.

When I first heard about parliament house, everyone told me how boring it was. But, that is only if u do it on ur own. It was a really awesome idea to wait for the free guided tour. My guide was very engaging and shared stories well. Gave a better understanding of the meanings behind the portraits, colour and design... More
