I've been to Floriade alone and as a couple and both times was beautiful. It's a lovely day's stroll through the flowers. Bring a hat and sunscreen and sun glasses. It's not too strenuous and children would love it. Well worth the trip if you're in Canberra at the time of Floriade.

Floriade has become very predictable and boring. Same old stalls, same food and very boring flowers as it is nearly exactly the same year after year. Come on Canberra get your act together

Great idea but much of the same each other. Due to weather this years availability was limited as night fest was cancelled. Great stores but food is overpriced especially if with a family.

If you are expecting a couple of flower beds then you'll be right. If your expecting something spectacular then you might want to think again. I swear there was more coffee carts than flower beds, more arcade type games, than floral presentations. Last year was much better. This year the gnomes know best.

This year it seemed to be more about the stalls and less about the flower designs. Was nothing really impressive like previous years. I didnt like the tub beds. Also the food was way over priced. $17 for a coffee and cake.

This exhibition is an absolute magnet for gardeners. Most exhibits have the gardener who made them in attendance to answer questions.

floriade is the amazing free flower festival walk through the amazing flower art ( flower bunch up so they look like a picture) and there are many shops stalls but don't buy from the floriades food stores just bring food or buy from the locals shop set up or its just a 5 minute walk to canberra centre

Disappointed this time. Much smaller, not as many displays to see. I realise that the weather had caused some problems, but overall disappointed. Especially as i took friends and told them how wonderful it waswhen i had been previously.

Beautiful floral displays in a waterside setting. Lots to see and do: education sessions, musical entertainment, shopping, food and drink. I was surprised that this was a free event, I paid a small amount to ride the Ferris wheel for a birds eye view of the park. The event runs for a month mid-September to mid-October. Highly recommended
