A beautiful walk by the sea, cool breeze and heaps of birds to spot. Native flowers everywhere. Then we saw Dolphins swimming in the ocean. Start early in the morning as the walk will take hours at a leisurely pace and take in all the...More

A pleasant walk along the harbour arm and then a relatively short walk on the island (quite steep in places, but good pathway which should be manageable for most). Great views along the coast and back to Coffs Harbour. Good information boards along the way....More

Take a walk along the breakwater past the marina to Mutton Bird Island. Make sure you walk over the top as the views are splendid. If your lucky and it's whale migration season you can see the whales jumping up to say hi.

Nice scenic walk. Though there aren't a lot of steps, the walk is a bit steep. Walking path is well defined and views from the end of the island are amazing.

The walking track starts at the ocean side of the harbor and then leads one very steeply east to the top of the island for superb views of the local coastline. Not the holes along the trail which are the muttonbird burrows.

Fantastic views in a beautiful location. Whilst the walk is steep the lookouts are amazing and the views definitely worth the short uphill walk. Our 5 year old managed it comfortably and it took about an hour in total which included a good amount of...More
