Bonza Bike Tours was founded in 2004 to create a unique experience in Sydney. Before we came around, there was no way to see all that Sydney has to offer without killing your feet or being stuck behind the window of a bus. We focus on creating a fun environment where you can become part of the active lifestyle that Sydney is famous for, while having a few laughs with fellow travelers. We look forward to seeing you in Sydney – and Melbourne, too!

Thanks Jess for making the tour around Sydney great even on the busiest day of the year for you guys 12/30/16. It was a 90+ degrees day and lots of people around the city with streets shut down for NYE. Jess did a great job bringing our group all around the city. Also, I had a bike accident a few... More

40 degrees temperature made for a serious workout, but professional and knowledgeable guide took us all over Sydney and the best historic and tourist sites. Sun cream and water were handed to everyone both before the tour andon return to the 'depot'. Bikes were well maintained and kiddie seats supplied. Helmets given to all.

My wife, cousin, and I wanted to go to Bondi Beach and we wanted to see the city. So instead of taking a cab or bus, we decided to rent bicycles and ride there. First off, if you decide to do this, LISTEN to the guy at the front desk because he will give you a map and draw out... More

Sydney is a beautiful city to tour on bikes! It is alot like San Francisco with hills and a beautiful bridge! We had a guide named Steven who seemed to try hard, but didn't follow through at the end! When we were done, he had us write down our email so he could send us the pictures he took! We... More

Our tour was great!! We were able to hit the highlights of this beautiful city and get a good idea of anywhere we wanted to go back to and explore further. The guide was great and really knowledgeable about all the stops.

We visited Sydney over New Year 2017 and on our first day there we took a trip with Bonza Bike Tours. It was simply the best way to explore, cover plenty of ground, get your bearings and have a fun, informative guide to explain some history and highlights. We had a great guide and he even recommended a place to... More

The people working there are fun and explain all tours if you wish to do your own thing biking in and around Sydney. We got very good bikes and equipment as well as several maps with additional tips on where to... More

We hired two bikes for 24hrs on our first day in Sydney and it turned out to be a fabulous decision! What a great way to see all the main sights of the city without pounding the pavement or hoping on and off buses all day. The information given upon hiring the bikes by the staff there was excellent, including... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
