Went on the Tribal Warrior to visit Goat Island (Me-Mel (the eye)) as part of the events for the Blak Markets. As I had not been to Goat Island before this was good to do something different and it was worthwhile. I think the crew need to focus more on safety and placement of ropes.

We cruised to Clark Island, had a walk around it (beautiful views of the harbour) then they did an aboriginal dance show. My daughter loved having a go of the didgeridoo. The guys kept it entertaining and interesting. The island is beautiful and the kids loved exploring the rocks. Cruised back with a little circuit around the harbour and under... More

Booked tickets via Livingsocial for what was called a NYE cruise. Now my understanding of a cruise is not heading from the wharf to a mooring location(10mim ride) and staying there the WHOLE night! "with perfect views of the fireworks" I think they also don't know the meaning of the word perfect. We were moored up on the opposite side... More

We board the boat in a light rain, but just as we docked at the island the rain started coming down in buckets. The guides had to heard us quickly back on the ship and I was certain everything would be cancelled. But no! They cleared an area on board for the dancer and set up the didgeridoo player in... More

I organised a group trip for a bunch of friends with kids between the ages of 4 and 10 and we all had an amazing time. The dancing and learning about Aboriginal culture was very hands on and authentic. Highly Recommend to Everyone :)

Went on one of these cruises with my school and was such a good day! The staff were so friendly and taught me so much about the Aboriginal history of Sydney. They were able to answer all my questions and help explain things i wasn't sure about. The food on the cruise was also very nice! Highly recommend!

Simply the best way to see Sydney Harbour, and to find out about the culture and history of the most beautiful city in the world, is on the Tribal Warrior. The ride is smooth and the guides are dead-set hilarious. You'll always remember it. And the omeny raised goes back into the community. Good food, very professional staff and always... More

We enjoyed a cruise on Sydney Harbour to catch the Australia Day fireworks. A good time was had by all four of us and the food provided was good. My only concern was the flimsy plastic chairs which were not ideal on a boat.

Have gone on the Mari Nawi twice now for business and both times have been very impressed by the professionalism and authenticity of the staff. The food was great and cultural performance was a gift to be shared and experience. I had a couple pinch me moments watching the sun set over the harbour and it makes a real difference... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
