I strongly recommend the wine tasting tour. You will have a tour in your travel on the way, a tour at each winery, and a tour on your return trip. You will likely see many kangaroo sunning themselves in open fields. But have your camera ready on the return trip to Sydney. There is a place on the highway on... More

Booked this trip online with absolutely no idea what was in store for us. We loved it! Our guide, Ian, was very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. A real professional who obviously loves his job. The weather was perfect and our group a cross-section of the globe. The wineries we visited each had their own distinct flavor and style. It is... More

Flinders was our tour guide, he made the whole experience a fun one. It took a good 3 hours to get to the valley from where we were staying and without his humour and knowledge it could have been a bit of a boring trip there. We went on the trip Friday the 18th November 2016. Within the trip we... More

We went to Capercheildh, Mcguigans, Hanging tree and Mountain view. Also visited a chocolate factory and the Smelly Cheese Factory, stopping for a very nice lunch in between. A very pleasant... Bus trip up and back is valuable and the many wineries visited in the Hunter was great. I came home with chocolates and red wine. We stopped at Petersons for lunch and enjoyed a top seafood selection with beautiful wine. I would do it again to show off our Hunter vineries.

I had a great day with the Hunter Valley Wine tasting Tours. Our guide/driver Paul was a nice guy very pleasant to be around. He took care of each and every group on the tour! We went to four different wineries. Although we were running a little late Paul still managed time to stop by at the chocolate shop in... More

It was our first wine tasting tour in the hunter valley and despite uncertain bad weather in the morning, the sun appeared just in time for our first winery. Our tour guide Paul was great, informative and all four wineries selected were great choices especially the last one. Great wine, great photos, great day!

Me and my pal joined this tour on the 5th of November. Our driver/guide- Mr Bill was very punctual and was waiting for us in front of the hostel even before 7pm. Mr Bill was very caring and helpful and gave us audio explanation along the way towards Hunter Valley. We visited 4 wineries: Lambloch Estate, McGuigan, The Hanging Tree... More

My husband and I went on an all day tour (pick up from the hunter) on the 2nd of nov. There was only four of us on the tour which made it just a little more special. Our tour guide, Derek was amazing! I read reviews saying he was really good and I was silently hoping that we would get... More

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
