Combine a fantastic sunny day of 28 degrees with moderate winds and there is only one place to be.....on Sydney Harbour on a fast sailing yacht. The crew are experts in their field and engage with you to assist in the sailing. You even get the chance to take charge of the wheel. You don't get an armchair ride however... More

I had an amazing time sailing around Sydney Harbour in an America's Cup yacht on Saturday afternoon. The crew were very knowledgeable and our safety was their primary concern. Having said that it was also a lot of fun because you were able to participate with the operation of the boat by working the grinders and/or steering the boat. It... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Australia. Great group of sailors and team members from other countries. Harbour was beautiful for our Wednesday race day. I even saved my souvenir cannister from my Life vest! Fun times. Thanks Sam & Marsha from Missouri USA

Great crew, lovely 2 hour excursion. They sail the harbour everyday, get out there and join them. Safety conscious and organized. Fun hands on experience. Get ready to help raise and lower the sails as well as steer the ship.

We booked this 1992 America's cup racer and were surprised that we went racing on the bay. The regatta was stunning and great fun. Make sure you take a sweater or wind stopper, on a cloudy day this get's chilly.

What can we say. What a brilliant day out on the harbour we had. We were actually in a race with everyone on board doing their bit. Well almost everyone. As I am a little slow in moving about I did not do the grinders etc, however, was able to move from side to side when tacking reasonably easy. It... More

A quick spin in the harbour. Sailing more like 2hrs after setting the sail. Boat is nice, amazingly agile. We were lucky to have little of wind 15-20kn and you could really feel the performance potential of the big dinghy. For a sailor the painful part is that you are not allowed to do any of the trimming etc. You... More

Great way to see the many shores of Sydney Harbor. Sailed almost to Manly and back. Crew lets you assist in minor sailing duties, including steering the ship. If the weather holds, highly recommend. Terrific views of all the highlights of Sydney (Opera House, Harbour Bridge, etc...)

I signed up for the twilight racing trip but unfortunately there weren't enough passengers booked to go ahead so instead I got moved to an afternoon sail. They gave me plenty of notice about the change and offered a refund but thankfully the alternate date worked out. Very cool to see the harbour and even got a chance to steer... More

Had a fantastic sail on Sydney Harbour on ex Americas Cup yacht Spirit of Australia. We took part in the Twilight race and thoroughly enjoyed sailing in close company with some of the best racing yachts in Australia. The team at Explore Sailing made us very welcome and got us fully involved in sailing the boat by being the 'grinders'.... More
