A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

My hubby and I did this walk today and it was gorgeous! The scenery was stunning, and great for either an exercise walk/run, or for taking it slowly and stopping off along the way for drinks, ice creams, swimming, sunbathing etc. a must do if...More

The views on this walk are stunning! It‘s also a great way to exercise as it‘s up and down hill. You will definitely earn your lunch or dinner after it. A must do walk for visitors to Sydney

Love this walk. Easy for a "not to fit" 60yr old. Bondi beach a "must see" for anyone in Sydney but loved the other less populated beaches on way to Coogee.

We took the walk to Bronte. Fish and chips on Bondi beach first. A Fantastic Day of Spectacular scenery – Sydney’s sandstone coastline and pristine water and surf. Brilliant.

We did this on an extremely windy, wet and cold day - meaning two of our group turned back. However some of us carried on for the whole walk, and it was very picturesque. There was a detour through the cemetery when we visited, which...More

Great environment with nice and clean beach and surrounded with shops and restaurants. My children loved the iceberg pool and we really had a great time there.

This is a good walk from the famous Bondi Beach down to Coogee Beach. There are some steep sections and a few steps to tackle too. There are water fountains along the route to fill up bottles. There is currently a detour through the cemetery,...More

I do this walk most weekends. It takes about two hours return depending on your pace and has a good path although there are stairs at various points so more of a challenge to the elderly or those with strollers. The cliff top walk takes...More

This is a beautiful coastal walk. Not too gruelling, plenty of water fountains en route, some cafes and make sure you slip, slap, slop that sun cream as you won’t feel that you are frying with the sea breeze.

Very nice views and photo opportunities!! A must do while in Sydney. Make sure to bring some water and maybe an umbrella for shade if needed. It does get bit hot in the sun but there are spots to rest in the shade.

I recommend to use public transport inside the city, but next to the Coogee Pavilion there is a car park. We started in Bondi and walked to Coogee. So you can end up in the Pavilion and eat or drink something there.
