More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Beautiful views over the ocean while you walk through lovely places. We even saw some whales. If you walk to Clovelly, there is a beautiful cemetery.

This was an amazing walk specially during the sunset. The path was constructed really good it's about 30 to 40 minutes to complete point to point. I would definitely do it again

This walk ain't for the faint hearted. It about 12kms long and that's loads of steep steps and hills to climb but boy is it worth it for the view alone. There's toilets on the way and water fountains so yoyre well covered. Seen a...More

We spent a few hours on this walk, it's not too hard but there are long staircases to go up and down so not for the infirm. Wouldn't want to miss the views as each bay comes into sight.

Although we did not complete the walk the lovely sunny day and wonderful scenery made this part of a day to remember. Sydney is a joy to visit and explore.

These two beaches are without doubt the most iconic and popular beaches in sydney, if not the whole Australia, so even if you don't do the walk, at least try and visit one of the beaches. My bet would be to visit bondi beach. But...More

The walk takes around two hours and I can’t recommend it any further! It’s a nice time away from the bustling city and it’ll give you an idea of how the NSW coastlines look like without having to travel out of Sydney.

Nearby
Coogee
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi
Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs
that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity

Most of the walk can be done with a pram but between Clovelly and Coogee there are steep steps which will make things very difficult.

There are many walking paths in Sydney, all completely free! If you have a few days in Sydney and like walking, go to Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains as well.
