A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

One of the best walks in the world. So close to the CBD but so beautiful. We would highly recommend a visit. Take your bathers!

Loved this walk, stunning scenery, great bit of exercise. Buses were easy to navigate once we got to Coogee. One of the best days in Oz.

Be prepared for steps (up and down) and tons of photo ops!! parts of the path are not well-marked but there are lots of people around to help!! The detour through the cemetery (because of storm damage) is actually quite intriguing!!

What gorgeous views! Seas all shades of blue, fun watching the surfers along beaches, lots of good bathing areas which are patrolled, the walk is interesting and has varied paths. Wear sturdy shoes but we saw plenty in flop-flops who did fine. Water taps along the way at intervals, take a water bottle and refill when needed (lots in hot... More

I am impressed of how many people walk in the city from beach to beach, the walk from Bondi to Coogee is really nice to do late afternoon and watch the sunset, be sure to wear lots of sunscreen

Excellent views and versatile selection of beaches and good for both running and strolling in flip flops. Definitely the best thing we did during our 5 day stay in Sydney. We were there actually twice: first time we walked from Coogee to Bondi and on the next time we came to spend more time on the beaches we liked the... More

This walk is long and can be hilly in places but the views are beautiful and many places to stop and enjoy the surrounding areas. Great walk for the dog too.

Walk from Coogee towards Bondi, because this way you walk towards your "destination". You can get to Coogeebeach easily with train and bus (313 or 353). As a regular walker thru nature this was a pleasant change. Lots of different scenery, beaches, bays, the cemetry and a bit urban. The boardwalk along the cemetry is still closed and it doesn't... One of the nicest walks in NSW. Stunning views. Low difficulty for all ages. Plenty of places to stop for photos (and ice creams).
