Overview
More
A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

Good places to walk seem to be lacking in parts of Australia but this walk will always be spectacular, Going past Tamarama, we stopped for a great lunch by Bronte beach and stayed there until evening.

One of the best walks you can do when in the area. It takes you along the coastline where some parts are cliff drop offs. Depending on the time of the year you can see whales.

Loved this walk, nice and easy but long with stunning views and quaint little parks, eateries and pristine sandy beaches all along. Best part is the cemetery overlooking the ocean.

Always busy, always lovely. A walk for all (except in wheelchair). Never gets boring. At sunset is the time

A lovely walk along the coast. Absolutely breathtaking! Wear comfortable shoes though, the stretch from Bronte Beach ( about halfway) to Coogee Beach is pretty hilly and requires and moderate level of fitness

The Bondi to Coogee walk is fantastic: great views; see a bit more of Sydney; fairly easy; not too long. By any definition this is a fantastic walk, so, if you get chance, do it!!

This walk goes along the coast from Bondi Beach to Coogee as the name also refers to. Such a nice walk with unbelievable views of the coastal areas in between the two towns. It took us a good 2 hours to complete the walk. I...More

Hmm, perhaps you can walk a portion. There are quite a few hills and one or two sets of stairs along the way which inevitably my tire a 4 year old. The walk is long too - very scenic and interesting for adults, but perhaps... More

I think there are better walks if you want your boys to scooter. Bondi to Coogee gets very busy at popular times, can get a little narrow, has stairs in quite a few places and is beside some roads for quite a distance at... More

We took the bus from the Circular Quay to Coogee Beach and did the walk in reverse as recommended by some online research I did. The reason given was that it is quite spectacular to come upon Bondi Beach as you round... More
