There's so many animals, from memory there's over 13000. Some areas were congested. If you do the penguin ride (do it) it's very cold, around 6 degrees. I would recommend for people with families or people interested in creatures of the sea.More

I think this is a very popular tourist attraction but early am will be better I would hope. If you are visiting in the winter it might be less crowded than summer.
