The rocks have evolved through the years, they are more complete now for shopping, restaurants, and nice walks. Hilly though but good for walking. I love the people, the vibe and the energy of this place. I would stay here again in this area!

Enjoyed a sunday morning walking thru the market and picking up stuff to take back home. Not exactly a flea market, found many stalls selling good quality merchandise - wide range of products.

It is a pleasure walking around the Rocks area of Sydney. The Big Dig is a fascinating look back at the early history. No guide needed just walk around and enjoy Sydney at a less frantic pace.

Loved walking around the rocks. So much to see in the history of the place and the markets are great. Plenty of food spots to rest your weary feet.

The Rocks is the oldest part of Sydney and is a must visit for any historical buffs! There are restaurants, bars, museums and many historical sites. On weekends there are blocks of street vendors with items for sale.

The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and
sailors from the old nation. As the oldest
neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone
streets host more than 100 heritage sites and
buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi
“ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the
waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The
