Stayed here when visiting Sydney. There is a great buzz about the place and always something going on. Fantastic location close to bridge harbour opera house botanical gardens etc etc

Plenty of cafe's & resturants to choose from. As well as bars for a drink or two. Excellent for looking into Sydneys yesteryea, with the old buildings. Enjoyable day out!

The Rocks is the Old Town of Sydney. It is fun to walk around, imagining the beginnings of European Australia here. We spent part of two days walking around, going to small shops.

Don't catch a taxi, full stop. Traffic is bad, will take up to 1 hour depending on traffic, and $120 return. $16.50 each way on the train from the domestic terminal, takes 20 minutes, comes every 10 minutes or so, and get... More
