Great atmosphere all around. Suitable for families and for all ages of adults. So many different pubs and restaurants. Much preferred The Rocks to Darling Harbour.

There is so much history here and much is hidden in the back lanes. Loads of cafes and resturants always buzzing with visitors and locals alike. Especially when a large vessel is in town. We recently stopped in for breakfast last Sunday morning and the...More

A lovely place to walk through. The old buildings and streets have great character. Wandering through the old stores gives you an idea of times gone by. Saturday markets with locally made products is worth visiting

I can spend hours walking around here so much history dating back to the First Fleet and the convicts. Outstanding restaurants with outrageous prices $7:50 for a beer at an ordinary pub! But of course it's a tourist attraction.

Very pretty streets with narrow passageways. Oldest part of the city going back to the penal times. Lovely restaurants and shops. A bit touristy but a nice walk.

Great for tourists, but not as good as it use to be. Most stalls have overpriced wares, not all. The atmosphere is vibrant and busy. Close to the Circular Quay area.

buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi

Hi Michael, not sure abiut small/boutique hotels in the rock area. Take a look at the Radisson Hotel which is a nice walk down to the rocks, however this is not a small boutique hotel but you will not be disappointed.
