This is a spectacular way to get some exercise and fresh air while taking in the stunning water views. We came on a Saturday morning and walked from Manly to Forty Baskets, had a meal at Forty Beans Cafe and then walked back. There are...More

The sun always shines in Sydney...and our walk here was on a beautiful morning with few crowds around. The views are breathtaking over the ocean. And of course even more impacting for a UK tourist. Although we have stunning coastline in England...it doesn’t beat the...More

We spent a nice half day walking from the spit to Manly. We took our time to enjoy all the view and different beaches. Finished up in Manly for a late lunch before going home. Greatly recommended.

If you have limited time and Sydney and want to experience the beauty of its coastal nature, this 10k is a must! The walkways are well maintained and in general quiet easy. Once in a while you need to walk across rocks but mostly there...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

August is a lovely time of the year for walking because it is not too hot. You can wear a jacket or jumper to start off but you will probably find that you take the jumper off once you have walked and warmed up. If it is a... More
