We (dad & two teenagers) were on a 7.05 pm climb so we were at the top around 9.30pm. Guide William was good fun. The pace was easy. All the views are as spectacular as you'd expect. Photos taken by guide were excellent. If I was to do the climb again I'd probably do another night climb as the city... More

Amazing, wonderful experience, not just the climb but learned so much on the way. Fantastic view and look down to remind yourself how far up you are. There is nothing really physical about the Climb, it looks strenuous but it's very easy on the gradient with lots of stops along the way. You might have to sell your least favourite... More

Before you start the climb you are given cloths to wear and are trained in what to do and expect. Then onto the bridge. There are a few small spaces to get through but it nothing to worry about. The view is unreal.Sydney looks great from up there. Its more of a walk than a climb, most people could do it.There is plenty of time... I discovered the reason for this attraction to have won so many tourism awards over the past decade or so - it is professionally organised from looking at the website, to making a booking to arriving at a specific time, and then having you tour go out without any waiting around or shuffling people and workers.

We did our Bridge Climb at Dawn a few days before new year's eve. It was an incredible experience that is not to be be missed. Our sunrise was mindblowing and something i will never forget. It was summer so by the time we started to prep for the climb (4am) it was already 25 degrees C, so were advised... More

The bridge climb was an amazing experience. Having grown up in Sydney so lucky to have the opportunity to do this. We gave this to our kids for a Christmas gift, aging from 9 to 16. They loved it. I do think it is very pricey, but it was very well run and excellent communication the whole time by staff.... More

My daughters and I climbed the bridge on a very warm day, there was a sea breeze all the way however it was still quite warm and 2 drink stops along the way. The views of Sydney Harbour were amazing, the Opera House, the cruise ships, Luna Park, Fort Denison the city and looking all over. The climb is not... More

The Bridgeclimb organization is granted permission to lead groups to the top of the bridge; and it is a thoroughly well thought out process for the climbers. A major concern is that someone might drop something on cars and trains crossing the bridge; and the public's observation from all around Sydney of people walking up one of their signature structures.... This is an absolute "Must Do", while in Sydney. We took the mid morning Climb and it was the most wonderful experience of our lives. You go through a lot of instructions before hand, thus making it a very safe climb indeed. You need to be able to climb several ladders. The covered steel walkway was a plus, in that... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
