A bit from central city is Newtown, an older village that is now part of Greater Sydney. Lovely historic buildings and the scene for many movies.

I visited Enmore last Saturday for a record launch at the Cat Protection Society Op Shop. I always make sure that I have a walk along King Street whenever I am over that way. Love King Street.

I love Newtown so much that we specifically took a trip there with our family who were visiting form England. It is quite 'hipster' with a young vibe. And has THE best Turkish restaurant Pasha EVER! Don't go to Newtown without going there!

Fortune of War, 137 George St Sydney appears to be the oldest bar in Sydney. The hotel ... since 1828. The bar's interior design looks fantastic. Worth visiting.
