At the Harbour foreshore walking from the iconic Sydney Opera House to the wonderful Botanic Gardens. A magical way to experience Sydney for a morning or afternoon stroll or jog.

If you walk away from the oprea house and up to the point you will get the best photography shots. Really relaxing. You might have to camp out for a pic.

What an amazing part of Sydney. The walk is very easy to do, the stairs up to the Opera House might be a but harrowing for older visitors though. The whole area of Circular Quay is amazing and the Opera House is the crown. The...More

Sydney botanic gardens are well worth a visit, they are lush and sub tropical with well documented notes near the trees and shrubs. An easy walk from the opera house.

Very scenic and worth doing it. We did it from botanical garden to Opera House and was facing the water all the time.

Beautiful route to run in the mornings or for a leisurely stroll in the afternoon. Spectacular views of the Opera House and the city from the Royal Botanic Gardens. Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

You should be able to do all that in the morning. There are tours of the opera house you might not have time for if you want to wander around the gardens longer - but they are all right in the same place, so if you have an... More

April in Sydney is Autumn : it's warm but not as hot as in the summer months. Very nice for walking about. Expect daytime temperatures around 20°C (68°F) cooling down at night to 15°C (58°F) .
