A good walk with nice views, although I was a little bit underwhelmed by the Spit Bridge. I thought it would be bigger or something. Still a nice area.

Not really an attraction in my eyes. Just a bridge that opens throughout the day. The harbour area around it is very nice with great spots for a picnic. You also have some nice restaurants close by.

Spent the Sunday walking and exploring our great Sydney foreshore with the boats and eating location and walked around the harbour for a swim.

Went here on recommendation of tour agency, took public transportation. Big let down. A local there asked why we bothered, that it might have been worth it if the bridge was opened. I read that others took the walk from Manly Beach, we did not....More

Start here then carry on to Manly, it's well worth it. There are lovely cafes around here too, so stock up for your walk

It is a easy access out of Sydney to Spit Bridge via a bus service or walk it the opposite way from Manly and catch the bus back to the city. The Spit Bridge is amazing which gives you a perfect views around the harbour...More

Why not do this walk? The Spit to Manly walk that is. It is beautiful. The scenery spectacular. Loads of people do this walk from families. To joggers. To those just out for a leg stretch. Do yourself a favour and add in Grotto Point....More

A lovely walk to Spit Bridge. Beautiful and scenic. Wear good sneakers or hiking boots. Highly recommended if you enjoy walking and a little hiking

The bridge is nothing special - a big noisy bridge , but the Manly to Spit walk is fantastic and well worth doing even if it is a bit of a challenge at times as it is long and very up and down

No. There are sections that could be accessed, but in parts the track is reasonably rugged.

I suggest searching for Manly Wharf NSW. This is where you either start or finish depending on which direction you take. It is also where you get on or off the ferry from Circular Quay in the city.

Yes there are, our favourite is Reef Beach closest to the Manly side of the walk.
