Took my mother to see kinky boots in April. What a great show, the main actor as Lola was incredible. Yes the seats may be a little bit small as some people have mentioned, but this place has great charm. Would definitely go and see another show here.

Was staying round the corner at the Vibe Hotel and accidentally came across this theatre whilst waiting to go on a day trip one day. Love the theatre and was lucky enough to get two tickets to see Kinky Boots on our last night in Sydney. First of all despite some recent reviews we found the theatre to have a... More

I'm not sure if the old and delightful theatre made the show or the show was fantastic anyway and the ambience just added but.....the combination is excellent. This well designed show, from the old film of the same name, was truly superb. It was funny, delightful, tear jerking and warm. The actors, especially Lola, is superb. And there is also... More

Took the wife for her birthday to see Kinky Boots and it was well worth the effort. The capitol is a beautiful old theatre and should be kept exactly as it is. We were lucky enough to sit front row for the show which made it even better. Cyndi's music was great and it was very well sung and acted.... More

My husband does not like musicals....HOWEVER he really enjoyed this show. The lead actor was truly amazing, dancing in high heels and a lovely voice. A good fun enjoyable show

Following hype from relatives who'd seen the show in London we went with a group to a matinee session. The show and staging was really good but let down by poor sound balance leaving the soloists drowned out by the band, and the lighting was not up to scratch. One of the dance scenes was quite good, particularly as it... More

I booked tickets to see Kinky Boots on 20/4. Unfortunately I did this on my phone so I didn't realise I had booked for the 2pm show instead of the 8pm show. I should have gone to the next page so it was my own fault. I immediately emailed Ticketmaster to see if it could be rectified. 2 days later... More

What a beautiful old theatre. First visit to the Capitol Theatre to see Kinky Boots. This is hands down one of the best productions I have ever seen. The music, the costumes, the shoes, the boots, the cast. Faultless!!!!!!! I want to see this show again. Absolutely brilliant.

A wonderful show promoting social tolerance with amazing acting, singing and performances 10/10. Priscilla Queen of the desert meets the theatrical stage. Fantastic music and songs. Such an imperial atmosphere in the beautiful old Capitol theatre.
