We were with a group of seniors and everyone commented on how easy it was to navigate. The gardens are picturesque and the animal & bird section is a bonus.

Visited the gardens this morning before the day became too hot. Lovely gardens, whilst they are not as impressive as some other botanical gardens I have visited still worth the walk around. The little zoo of definitely the highlight and sure to amuse the kiddies. It's also good how there are playgrounds for the kids and a picnic area! Makes... More

The grounds are divided into many sections (see posted map at the left end of the little train depot). The air was full of different fragrances, too! There is an air-conditioned area (shop-like) for refreshments and... More

Had lunch here at the restaurant/café - lovely quiche and salad which was very enjoyable. The gardens are beautifully kept and it was very relaxing wandering through them at our leisure.

A delightful place where you can relax in the sun and enjoy banana bread and coffee at the cafe whilst birds fly around. I really enjoyed the native animals especially the wombat and kangaroos. The irises and poppies were in bloom. A gorgeous day out.

We came across the botanical gardens with a free zoo. Great selection of animals and no cost. Lovely cafe and a free play area that attracted lots of young families. Well worth a visit.
