We visited the Kangaroo Sanctuary and it is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! It is led by Brolga, a man with such passion and commitment to the lives of these orphaned Kangaroos, with such an extensive knowledge of the animals that he loves, who tries to educate his visitors on the importance of rescuing these... I gave up a night at Uluru, cancelled (and lost my money) on my return airline ticket to Brisbane, hired a car and drove from Uluru to Alice Springs instead, all for the chance to visit this amazing place. My husband was a bit skeptical, thinking, we've seen kangaroos before, but he came away a convert. Brolga meets you as... More

What an amazing learning experience. Our small group was fortunate enough to hold two different baby kangaroos during our tour and I couldn't stop smiling. You can see rescuing baby kangaroos (and returning them to the wild when possible) and educating others is a passion for Brolga.

Hard to describe just how enjoyable this is. Accessible only by booking and by tour bus (which picks you up at your hotel), it's a quick ride out to the sanctuary where Brolga gives you an experience you won't get anywhere else: Walking through the bush (at sunset, so even on a hot day it's pleasant) on his self-built sanctuary... This was actually the highlight of my stay in Alice Springs. An amazing experience for those who love kangaroos. Very nice for families as well as for singles. Note that the sanctuary can only be visited on a guided tour that takes place on certain week days and always at sunset.

This was an wonderful chance to hold a baby joey and to learn about kangaroos up close from Brolga whose passion and love for these animals is inspiring. This 2+hour walking tour through his Sanctuary was a highlight of our trip and it was fascinating to watch them close up. We had an incredible visit and would highly recommend it!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip, we had seen the 'Kangaroo Dundee' programmes on TV so when we realised that this was near Alice Springs we just had to visit. We were picked up from the hotel by a coach with a very pleasant driver. Brolga is a lovely man, obviously devoted to his kangaroos, it was... More

I watched the show Kangaroo Dundee back in the UK and have been a fan of the work Brolga does since. It was my dream to come out to Australia and visit the sanctuary but I didn't think it would be possible. We were picked up on a door to door service which was absolutely perfect in itself but let...
