Fantastic view of the whole town and amazing history once you walk to the top. We didn't drive up, but climbed up the old original path and found out there was even more information on the road side if you drove up.

a sacred site for aboriginals and returned service men, this hill gives a lovely visita over Alice Springs and the MacDonnell rangers. Easy to walk up it. Wait for the sunset to get the colours on the rocks.

I took a walk up Anzac Hill on my first day in Alice Springs and it was well worth it. You get a great view across the Alice and out to the MacDonnell Ranges, so it is not hard to find a shot to take....More

Situated on the northern edge of Alice Springs. This lookout has fantastic views over the Township of Alice Springs and also boasts some fantastic sunset views

Other than the very interesting plaques, the sunsets are spectacular. This is a very fitting place for a soldiers memorial, It gives good information, the flags and cenotaph suit the location perfectly. Sunsets over Alice Springs top it off.

Short drive to the car park. Then a very short walk to the cenotaph, go up steps or use the path. Great views of Alice Springs. Brilliant signs on the drive up of Australian involvement in wars. Well done Alice Springs.

At the top of the town and great outlook and remembrance of all the soldiers who died in the different wars, well worth a visit.

Yes there was good lighting when we visited during sunset and it is popular so I'm assuming they keep it well lit. Sorry I have been so long in answering I have been in hospital. I hope this helps.
