Went with the family to Lake Leanyer. Firstly, I will say it's free and it is worth a day trip when it's hot. The place needs some more $ spent on it. The lake surface has been re-done and is great and the kids pool is much more young kids friendly now. On the major water play area, only about... More

I loved this place. It's free, and caters for the whole family. Small kiddy pool, large swimming pool, big water slides and a section with water slides just for the little kids. Lots of lifeguards and it's a well thought out park. Also has a decent skate park outside. We went on a wet day (cold for the locals, perfect... More

Terrific way to break up your darwin holiday. We packed a picnic, plenty of cold water and enjoyed the whole day at the water park.

Leanyer locates near by Casuarina which one of the main area in Darwin. It's good places to swim, do bbq, play at park, and other things with family and families.

Great place for Families to cool down, especially in wet season. If you don't have your own pool it's a fun place to visit.

Awesome fun! No charge for entry and everything was free. Slides were great fun but the rubber dinghy slide has to be ridden with 2 riders (can't go on your own). The other slides were great fun but the body got a bit sore due to all the connections in the slides, could have ridden them all day if mats... More

This is the best place to be to cool off from the oppression of our humid build up. It is great for the kids. There's those giant waterslides. And just cool off. Bring something to eat and drink. A great place for kids and friends.

We all loved it from our 1 year old right up to our 70 year old granny. This is the place to visit... More
