I expected free waterslides to be busy - but NO - we never had to queue up. There are three slides. The red one needs a tube that you ride in as a pair. It's dark most of the way and reasonably fast. The tubes were shared nicely by all users. The other two slides are tubeless. I only went... More

Kids love it here. Some parents should supervise their children more closely as the bigger kids playing in the water play area can become quite rough with the little ones, which is obviously very dangerous when dealing with water. Its very clean, could do with some more seating in the shade and extra toilet blocks but all in all a... More

The main water park was closed for renovation when we went (it looks like it will be pretty awesome when finished), but the waterslides were still open. If something like this was free to the public on a sunny day in Melbourne, you would spend all day lining up. Even on a beautiful day in the peak season, we didn't... More

Found this on our 1st trip to Darwin and it is a must visit whenever we come back to Darwin. Combining a water playground, large pools and the 3 water slides ensured that both kids and adults had lots of fun. And all for free...brilliant

Couldn't get our son off the sides. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and the best part is it was free. The waterpark is currently being redeveloped and once completed the park will be even better

Took out 5 and 2 year old here and they had an absolute blast. It is great that darwin can provide this amenity free of charge, there should be more of this. Great option for a hot day to cool off ( and face it everyday in darwin is hot) A few things could be done to improve such as... More

Coming from interstate and water restrictions, the kids had not seen this much water freely flowing - off waterslide, the giant bucket dumping on heads, the little sprays, the pool for the toddlers, and the larger wading pool for everyone. BRILLIANT and Free. Can be a bit hot - so take a hat, but there is shade if you get... More

There are two free waterparks close by, the other one is in Palmerston. It's such a great thing to have considering the hot weather. Great fun way to cool off and picnic!

Free and loads of fun at this water park in Darwin, it has barbecues and a kiosk you to buy food or bring your own food and it is a great place to hold a birthday party.
