Very interesting a lot of reading but all good information, amazing history in the place. Lady at front desk was great and full of information. Highly recommend

Had a good walk around, I found the old gallows area was very spooky and sad at the same time. Things were very hard in those days.

Many of the old building are gone, but the few left standing are very basic prison lifestyle. It shows how tough things were in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
We visited the Gaol as a family of 4 adults. Overall it was a very interesting visit. I found the limited information available quite good. Looking forwarded to returning in the future to see the added resourses to improve the place. Really gives an insight...More
