We spent a couple of hours here one morning feeding the many fish that come in on the high tide. Excellent for kids of all ages, Bread is available but do not b greedy as you can always go back to get more. Commentary was good as they identified all the fish that came in for a feed. A great experience for all ages. Take off your shoes and stand on the steps with the fish swimming all around you. Bread is supplied so you can feed them. The catfish fish like to grab and run while the mullet are more gentle nibblers. I also saw large batfish and juvenile barramundi .We were told that different fish come... More

Something different to do in Darwin - only opened on high tide. Fish take bread from your fingers - they're very gentle.

Hi Julie, To my knowledge we have never had a Territorian discount as such on showing your NT licence? We do have our Fintastic Passes though which you can access if you have an NT licence which then allows to to come back and visit for free for a 12 month period? Maybe this is what you were thinking of?... More

From the time we walked in to the time we left, we had a great time, the awesome ladies that were working were informative and very friendly. We stayed the whole 2 hours for the fish feeding, we had plenty of room to move around and get up close with the number of different fish there to feed.

Probably the most boring experience during my stay in Australia. I could do the same thing in my pond back home. However, I would be ashamed to charge money for it. Good if you have children and some cash to burn.

Fascinating to watch all the different kinds of fish and the games they get up to. A lot of fun to feed them by hand too!
