Simply the best (and most comfortable) way for an overview of beautiful Brisbane, both sides of the River. For only a few dollars jump on/off one of the bright speedy Brisbane-themed Cats, with stops at all the best attractions. Ride it to UQ St Lucia terminus to admire the stunning architecture and superb river setting. Southbank Parklands and QUT Gardens... More

Only in the city 2 days due to traveling, hubby & I went on the Brisbane Council River boat to the manmade beach at South bank. The boat was quite cheap, very comfortable & the staff very helpful. As you can imagine the 'beach' gets very busy with families, but is open till quite late & is free. There are... More

Riding the City Cats is a great way of viewing Brisbane. Starting at either ends you get the feel of our meandering river. The beautiful parks & stops along the way, New Farm Park famous for its rosé beds & cafe under the fig trees. Newstead park on the bend at the Breakfast Creek (brekkie creek, as the locals call... When we just moved to Brisbane, 10years ago, CityCat ride was our favorite event to take our visitors from other city/country. Brett's Wharf to UQ and back. Quit long ride. I haven't on it for quite sometime I should try again, back then it was nice ride, especially our son enjoy riding in front. He can barely see where he's... More

If you don't have unlimited time and /or budget, the Brisbane City Council river ferry is a great way to enjoy a wonderful ride up and down the Brisbane river seeing various interesting sights along the way. Simply good fun at a very reasonable price. Thanks BCC.

My friend and I took bikes on the ferry and then ride them back to the west end. It was so easy and a great way to see this city; its architecture, it's back streets, it's cafes and its sights. Friendly staff and great option.

Always enjoyable. An excellent way to see Brisbane is on the city cat. The service is regular and takes you up and down the river to places like Toowong and Bulimba...So easy to get from one tourist spot to the other. Really good value with your Go card and scenic to boot.I reccommend this

I wanted to just take trips on the ferry back and forth for the enjoyment. It docks right outside the apartments and delivered us to the heart of Brisbane. This is a must do
