Considered Queensland's first historic national park, this island features the ruins of a colonial prison, once known as the "hell hole of the South Pacific."

This was a good trip. Friendly crew on the ferry, and genial guide on shore. Needs good weather for both the ferry trip and the walk around the Island . Good packed lunch. Well worth the effort made. This is almost an all day trip.

We had a school excursion to this unbelievable place. Travel by boat. There was a fun area with slides. A good history lesson. Beach area scuba diving and dolphin feeding. Kids had a great time.
