These gardens have an interesting array of flora and a few scrub turkeys that almost got shuffled off their land. Sound familiar? Someone in my family is an avid gardener, and I noticed the lack of native proteas in the parklands. I haven't seen any...More

Beautiful trees, parkland and manicured gardens. A true pleasure to walk in. Accessible from Roma Street Transit Centre if using public transport.

Roma St gardens are a fantastic place to visit. Take your time, relax, wander slowly, take a picnic. Beautiful areas and little surprises here and there.

A place to walk in beautiful surroundings with a big variety of plants, trees etc that makes a great escape from the city centre that is just outside the parklands. Also there are free barbecues for use for lunch. Peaceful and pretty.
