Riverside Garden

Lovely garden just down from our hotel. Would walk there most mornings before breakfast. In my view much better than the "Botanical Garden" at Mount Coot-Tha.

Went here to sit and enjoy my coffee while reading my book on a rainy day. There are free tours every day starting at 12pm that you can do, the lady goes into great detail with all of the plants that are maintained at this park. There is a cafe at the back of the park where you can sit... More

A beautiful garden to walk through or relax in, with lovely trees and plants, all well tended. Lots of birds and lizards there too. Well worth visiting to escape from the hurly-burly of Brisbane.

The Brisbane city botanic gardens are on a bend in the river, so as you walk through, you walk along the river with its views. The gardens are lush, and stunning. One of the better botanic gardens in Australia. Well worth a visit while in Brisbane. Flat easy walking for all abilities, and close to the city for easy access.... More

Grab a City Bike and ride along the river to the Botanical Gardens, such a lovely way to spend a day in Brisbane!

An easy walk with lots of great scenery and plenty of shade if needed. Even on hot days enough shade is around to be pleasant. Has great floral, lawn and trees well scattered throughout with some dense boush as well as great views of the river.

Excellent displays and information of the varied plants and trees giving a great insight to what grows in our tropical climate. Especially interesting to locals wishing to increase their knowledge of possible garden planting and a great insight for out of state and foreign visitors.
