The Anthropology Museum at the University of Queensland is a small but decent museum. We checked it out quickly while were in the area recently, meeting a friend there before heading to lunch. It has free entry so that is always a plus, the whole thing may take you about 30minutes to get through but it is well laid out,... More

I visited here during the week. For a free exhibit, it is certainly decent but wouldn't go out of my way to visit. If you're on campus for whatever reason and have a spare 15-30 minutes to kill - consider a visit. The exhibit has maybe two dozen pieces of art and a short film to watch, largely showcasing the... Visited Queensland University on day of an Aboriginal Welcome and exhibition. Had no previous knowledge of the University or its facilities as invited by a friend. Was impressed with the Anthropology museum which was focused on the aboriginal experience. It was unpretentious and well laid out. The highlight, for me, and the most informative and poignant exhibit, was the video... More

We loved the museum: great exhibits, friendly staff. They even brought us chairs so we could watch a very interesting video in comfort.

I loved the exhibition. Staff is friendly. They seem very eager to get more visitors. There was nobody there when my friend and I visited. It probably has something to with lack of awareness. Because the exhibition itself is really worth a visit.

Staff is friendly. I was invited to go in for a walk when I was sitting outside the museum with my friend. As an UQ student, I passed by this museum many times but have never been in. The exhibit was not too interesting this time. I hope to come for something else next.

The exhibits at the Anthropology Museum are always interesting and unique. I have visited museums all around the world and have found that it compares favourably with many other larger museums.

I have visited the Anthropology over the years. The exhibitions change regularly, but the best part is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly. Well worth a look in any time you are in Brisbane with time to spare.

The University of Queensland's Anthropology Museum is interesting enough if you are arou d the campus and have a bit of spare time. It has the usual ethnographical fare of masks, spears, drums and other objects from other cultures, especially Asia and the Pacific. It is very quiet - I was the only one there when I went.
