Nice park behind the sporting fields , the park overlooks a river that flows into the main river - good spot for fishing as well

Also known as Deep Water Bend. I hadn't visited this spot for many years but recently came late afternoon to fish. The area has certainly been made so much nicer with the boardwalk and shelter. Good areas for a picnic. Great spot as the sun goes down but bring your mozzie spray.

Good picnic spot beside the pine river(?). Free BBQ's, clean facilities & fishing platforms on boardwalk. Afew mosquitos around so don't forget to pack and use the aeroguard.

Bring your fishing line or just enjoy the well kept pathways winding through the bush and alongside the river inlet. Nice day but bring mosquito repellant.

Great spot for a picnic or BBQ with large covered picnic tables. Great spot for throwing a line in and people and boat watching...we actually had a boat that we all took rotational turns in going out in and having a ride up the river...quite exhilarating! All in all a great fun day out in a comparative bush setting on... More

Nice bush and creek walk. Easy to do, very flat. Just off the freeway, easy access. Worth doing, for nature lovers.

This as a lovely unspoilt area to wile away a couple of hours. We often take our dogs for a leaded walk around here. There are lots of birds around and a mob of kangaroo often put in an appearance. The bird hide on the river has never thrown up any good sightings, despite visiting at different times of the... More

This is a great place to put the boat, jet skii or kayaks in but the one major turnoff for me was on arrival spotting a sea snakes, though we went ahead and put the kayaks in. It may not be usual to see this but it did make me very wary whilst out in the kayaks that day. Luckily... More
