This is a wonderful attraction to add to your day at the Southbank Parklands! Well maintained and plenty of historical facts to entertain and educate. Well worth it!!

Right on the river and at south end of Southbank. Easy access via train/ ferry or bus and car. Great place to wander and poke around.

The museum has many boats, the most impressive being the HMAS Diamantina, a River class frigate, the only one surviving, as a 9 foot long aluminum ocean going yacht. This museum is well worth a visit if you have the slightest interest in the sea.
