I booked a Cape Tribulation Tour from Tropical Horizons Tour. First of all, I'm not sure what happened, but the bus that picked me up at my accommodation was rather from Down Under Tours and not Tropical Horizons Tour. Maybe they subcontracted me to Down Under Tours because they did not have enough people on that day? At any rate,... More

I did the Kuranda tour with the Scenic Train up and the Skyrail back. The views were SO beautiful and I really liked the train! it was a really old school train with nice wooden interior. nice to do on a beautiful sunny day. Kuranda itself tho was boring.

we were picked up from our motel then driven by coach to the sky rail The coach driver talked of the local points of interest and about the ride. Once there it was easy to get on board and enjoy this magnificent experience. It's great to take photo's looking back at Cairns, of the rainforest below us. We got off... More

We spent almost 3 hours collecting and dropping people in Cairns and on the way. The small bus (not coach) had very little leg-room and was slow. Almost 3 hrs was spent collecting and dropping people at various points in Cairns and on the way. The walk in the forest was only 1 hr - not one and a half... More

If your looking for the rainforest experience & want to see crocs, this tour isnt it. To much bus time & very little sight seeing. Barely no walking apart from a 30 min guided tour with a indigenous guide for a hole day event. Croc tour was pathetic. Experienced very little from this tour. Only positive was a nice bus... More

Professional, and very well-done. Jason was awesome guide for the day. Tour was educational, and no pushing of gift shops or trinkets.

We traveled with tropical horizons tour to the Daintree forest. I'd have to say I was disappointed. The tour guy was always rushing us and was on edge. It wasn't that great. I would say to do this tour you can do on your own if you have a car or chose a different touring company. Also if you can... More

This was a lovely tour and if you go hungry then it’s your own fault as you get morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Lake Barrine was amazing to see and the boat ride was pretty cool with the wildlife you get to see. One thing to note is you won’t see all the falls one after the other so... More

We were collected ontime from our hotel by an amazing lady Dianne. She gave us a brilliant commentary on our way to the train station. We travelled to Kuranda via the railway and returned via the skyrail. The rail journey was via a diesel train. Best option is to ask for seats on the right of the train for the... More
