Visited at low tide, HUNDREDS of crabs on the mud flats to look at. Lovely fresh water pool beside it.

We saw lots of ppl jogging and walking there . It’s quite a pleasant walk . There are lots of beautiful trees along the walk and also the view to the sea is beautiful They have a few exercise machine on the way too

We did this walk during the day and in the evening and found it very relaxing. The waterfront area was near restaurants and hotels.

Great place with lots of activities for children during the school holidays. There was always something on and lots of restaurants to choose from including the food court.

Free look outs again are along the road from Cairns to Mareeba, Cape Tribulation etc. up the mountain from Smithfield to Kuranda has a few city look outs, and to the local dam. There should be a few down near Earlsville but... More

Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. The Esplanade is very close to the Hilton Hotel, just a nice short stroll along the boardwalk. The Esplanade is 2.5km long featuring both footpath and boardwalk areas.
