Cairns Adventure Cruises operate a high speed "Naiad" design vessel (4 x 300hp Suzuki Outboards) out of Cairns, North Queensland Australia. We do 2 awesome tours every day. all year round. Morning Tour: 1/2 day tour to Green island, a sand cay on the Great Barrier Reef where you can snorkel, explore, or just hang at the beach. We depart Cairns at 7.30am and return into Cairns at 12.15pm, which gives us 3.5 hours on the island. The early departure gets us there 1 hour before anyone else arrives. Afternoon Tour: Departs at 2.30pm. In the afternoon we spend a bit over an hour exploring the Cairns Inlet, waterways and wetlands. We use a bit of power around the back of Admiralty Island, keeping an eye out for the odd "Saltie" (Saltwater Crocodile). There's Mangrove habitat, sunken ships, ships that look like they should be sunk and plenty of luxury boats as well to see. This tour is suitable for all ages and weather conditions as we are in very sheltered waters.

Had the best day of the holiday. We were so pleased with this whole experience. We were impressed with our Scuba dive instructor Tye. He was so easy to understand and we trusted him straight away. He made the day fun for both of us....More

They have a great rep and v helpful when I re Jewel them mistakenly for another company which were terrible. These are not. They have a great rep! But sadly Green Island is not on a recommended list, let them take you elsewhere!

Had an awesome day with my girlfriend, the boat ride was pretty quick and fun. Snorkelling with Mike was simply fantastic because he knows all the good spots and we even found Nemo! Highly recommend!

Hi Thanks for taking the time to review our tour, or in this case, our booking procedures. We always ask for a phone contact in case something goes awry. It's a shame we didn't get yours as we would have called and explored the other...More

Highly recommended, small group size, individual attention, first on Green Island! I say ditch the big boats and operators, avoid the long queues and get snorkelling an hour earlier than the rest - what's not to love. Coll and Mike are friendly and relaxed hosts,...More

We chose the half-day morning tour of Green Island on That's Awesome because it gets there long before the other boats. It was an early start and our teenagers weren't thrilled about it but the boat was fast and we were able to snorkel in...More
