I did the 3 day live-aboard with my wife. I scuba-ed and got my advanced diver rating with PADI (at a very reasonable rate) and my wife snorkeled. It was really great. The dive locations were great. There were 5 dive times per day -- all in fantastic spots. We saw sharks, nudibranchs, large turtles, rays, seriously giant clams, grouper,... More

My apologies for putting December 2016 for my date of visit as there was no other option. My date of visit was in 2013. Though the people in the dive shop were very welcoming, on the dive boat it was a different story altogether. Dive guides and instructors ran the whole show on the boat and the last word came... I had a terrible experience, I bought a day trip that included scuba diving and snorkeling. The boat was packed, 65 people on a very small boat so there was barely room to move around. It was my first scuba diving experience ever so I had no idea of what I was doing, these guys didn't explain very well what... More

Highly recommend this trip! All of the diving instructors were amazing! Especially Bin who was a great instructor and VERY patient with our group. The food was great and Simon the photographer was ultimate craic and so helpful and knowledgeable. Bin made us feel very confident in the water and it only took us a few minutes to finish our... Sadly a bad experience. Had issues booking where they double charged us and didn't send any confirmation, we had to make several international calls and multiple emails to resolve it. We were promised a single room and when we got there we had a quad share. The company was very disorganised and caotic which created a stressful experience. there was... More

Me and my wife did a 3 day dive with CDC dive center we had a good time but we definitely would not do it again. We did not feel that we were on a holiday, it felt we were doing a course and we had anger teachers. The time schedule was awful and they didnt fallow the schedule that... More

CDC 3D2N LOB trip attracts me because as a single diver, you always want a single cabin but do not want to pay any unreasonable supplement extra. CDC is the first dive company that offers a single room without the need of paying extra. This is the strongest reason why my choice is CDC when doing dive trips at GBR.... More

If you have your own snorkel and are looking for a cheap way to get out to the reef, the Sunkist Day Trip is a great value for the money. I went out with this trip on my second day in Cairns after a phenomenal day with a different company on my first and it was definitely a little more... More
