First class facilities on the far Reef with a moored pontoon. Your twin hull Waverider boat stays alongside, so that all the facilities onboard are available. The provision of equipment for snorkelling etc is very slick and professional and you can even hire underwater cameras. Some Reef bleaching seems to be taking place in this and other areas on the... ...a few things worth bearing in mind about this sort of trip. Quicksilver seem to be the main (only) carrier to this reef, which is described as an activity platform. It takes about one and a half hours to reach the platform in their large CAT. What Quicksilver do not disclose when booking is that you can travel one way... More

Great diving experience with Silver Sonic on Agincourt Ribbons. A variety of places that are beautiful, not as crowded as some other parts of the reef, and better quality from what I have seen.

This is a full day activity with a dose of sensory overload. We came out on the Quicksilver with my seven year old daughter who loved EVERY SECOND of it. Sure we spoiled her a little with a helicopter ride and a marine biologist led snorkel tour . but this is a one in a lifetime attraction , so we... More

This was by far the most exciting thing I've ever done, visiting the Great Barrier Reef and going underwater to see all the wonderful creatures. Loved it!

Nothing to see here. Go south! Sorry we can't be more positive, but the Reef is almost dead. Trip Advisorrequires me to use at least 100 words! Dead, dead, dead!

a fantastic day snorkeling and swimming. Able to swim with beautiful fish and some very big (but friendly) ones. Well run and workers happy to inform you of any information you wanted to know about the reef.

Amazing..... I did do a write up on the Quicksilver Cruises tripadvisor page... So I'll keep this short.... Pontoon was clean, great food, plenty of space, plenty of snorkelling supplies, nice covered areas. The snorkelling was awesome. Diving was as you can imagine, filled with spectacular scenes Helicopter was so cool, very stable, pilot was friendly and informative, scenery was... More

Fantastic day out . Considering the commercial scale of the operations you have the opportunity to feel alone with the reef. The marine biologists give you a great insight but just swim over a section of reef and you see a waste rang of corals and fish. Stop and just float and the sea fills with life. Absolutely stunning
