Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course is located in Port Douglas, Queensland, and is Far North Queensland's premier golfing experience. The course designed by Thompson, Wolveridge and Perrett is Australia's only tropical links style golf course. The 18 hole layout, set between the rolling mountains and the Coral sea, provides both the recreational and professional golfer a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The club house set overlooking the lush tropical rain forest is open for breakfast and lunch daily, and the Sunday Roast is a must. Whether you are looking for a game of golf, or just to relax on the deck for lunch and a drink, then don't miss the Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course.

I played two rounds here. Great staff particularly the head pro. I like the layout although it is devoid of elevation change. The biggest disappointment was the height of the grass. The fairways were long and so were the greens which led for painfully slow...More

This course was in wonderful condition, not a cheap course to play though not too expensive. We took advantage of the early morning special $110 (AUD)cart included. The layout is typical of most Peter Thompson courses with plenty of pot bunkers and a good range...More

This is a very good golf course. To see so many ground staff working on the course and the manner they were going about it, shows the new management are serious. I was worried it was going to be another run down Palmer course, not...More

In a region (meaning Queensland holiday destinations) renowned for "resort" style courses, the links feel of Sea Reef is a nice alternative. Have played here numerous times before and always enjoy coming back. Tees, fairways and rough are in great condition. Greens are good too,...More

This is my second time here. I rate the course as I do all Thomson designs but the thing about golf resorts is you need to invest. The bunkers were sandless and the clubhouse and amenities sad and tired. Tee to green was good but...More
