Can't recommend this highly enough. Was very nervous about the snorkelling but all the staff were exceptionally helpful and reassuring and we had an amazing day. The reefs were astounding and the amount of marine life to see quite stunning. We were there out of season so possibly less busy. Had to wear a stinger suit but was grateful for... More

Hotel pick up/drop off from PD hotels.Tour leaves from the marina at 10am.This is a full on whole day activity led by some very professional committed staff. We learnt so much about the reef environment from the marine biologist who gave a talk on the 1 and half hour trip out to their permanently moored pontoon on the edge of... More

We did the full day Outer Barrier Reef cruise. This is s huge undertaking. The big cat takes you out to a large moored platform on Agincourt Reef. This is not a quaint peaceful way to explore one of natures wonders. The ship holds about 400 people so it is very crowded and impersonal. Quicksilver runs everything very efficiently -... More

Quicksilver tour to the outer reef. Magnificent day out on the boat, including lunch. Well worth the $224 expense. There is something for everyone on this tour. Lyca suit hire is $8.00 additional, which kind of baffled me as to why this was not included as the staff strongly recommend them. The boats interior cabins are fully air conditioned, which... More

We took their day cruise to their platform on the outer reef and it was fantastic. The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. We figured that there must have been over 20 crew between the boat and the platform so they made our trip very easy and safe. The platform was great, plenty of space to settle in for the... More

Booked online 10 months in advance and well worth the wait (I'm sure you can book up whilst in the area though). Got picked up from our hotel at 9:25 for a 5 minute journey to the marina to get checked in and to get on to the ferry to get to Agincourt Reef. The trip was longer than I... More

My partner and I have not been scuba diving in a long time ( my partner 35 years ago was his last dive!). We had perfect weather here and wanted to get back into diving. Quicksilver staff were so accommodating and made sure we had the best experience. The lunch was great, a small buffet with yummy options and all... More

Have always wanted to snorkel Great Barrier and now I have. My husband and I are getting close to 60 and we both loved it. Thought we might be too old but no. It was great fun cruising in submersible boat viewing the reef. Snorkeling was awesome all equipment provided. Recommend using rash suit which is available for $8. Colours... More
