Went to Agincourt Reef with Quicksilver today and was very impressed. I had concerns about going on a large boat because of the crowds snorkelling but needed something for my non swimming husband to do. We both went in the semi submersible which was fascinating, led by Ryder, and I snorkelled twice. There were lots of areas on the pontoon... More

Absolutely beautiful day from the time you get on the boat to when you get back to Port Douglas. A great opportunity to see the Reef up close whether snorkeling, scuba diving, going for a run on the submersibles. Cannot recommend highly enough.

These guys are brilliant!!!! When we were looking at reef tours, so many people told us to avoid Quicksilver because of the crowds, and to go with a smaller operator with a smaller group. So glad we ignored that advice!!! Why? We were a group of 6 (2 adults, 2 children, and 2 seniors) ranging from 7 years to 77... More

I was very apprehensive when my family signed me up for the Ocean walk. I was so nervous but the staff at Quick Silver were very reassuring and kind and had a great sense of humour. The ' Ocean Walk' was the best thing ever for a person like me who can barely snorkel and refuses to scuba. We saw... More

This was planned as one of the highlights of our trip and it certainly lived and even exceeded expectations. Got picked up from hotel in Cairns for drive to Port Douglas. Had other pickups but driver very informed and told us what to see and do in Cairns as well as pointing out areas of interest on the drive to... More

Was a good day out, enjoyable but it takes a while to get out to the reef and they up-sell their various tours and equipment the entire time. Marine Bio talk was interesting though. The time on the pontoon seems a bit rushed if you do any of the additional activities. That said, the reef is still fantastic to see,... More

Can't recommend this highly enough. Was very nervous about the snorkelling but all the staff were exceptionally helpful and reassuring and we had an amazing day. The reefs were astounding and the amount of marine life to see quite stunning. We were there out of season so possibly less busy. Had to wear a stinger suit but was grateful for... More

Hotel pick up/drop off from PD hotels.Tour leaves from the marina at 10am.This is a full on whole day activity led by some very professional committed staff. We learnt so much about the reef environment from the marine biologist who gave a talk on the 1 and half hour trip out to their permanently moored pontoon on the edge of... More
