The Mt Stuart lookout is not particularly difficult to find with any digital map. It is about 20km from the City Center but you should allocate at least 30 minutes for the drive as the last 9km on Mt Stuart Road should be taken slowly...More

Went to the Mt Stuart lookout to watch the new years fireworks. It was a great place to go excellent views over Townsville city & not to many people up there. There were families having picnics & couples eating pizza but not crowded at all....More

Great views across townsville. Make sure to be careful driving up as the road is a bit dodgy and has racing on it at times.
