We think that you are meant to park at The Eastern Beach Car Park to access this. We made the mistake of heading to the 'look out' so we could see the lake and beach beside it, but there is quite some distance between the...More

The walk up to the sand dunes and Lake Wabby is lovely, the sand dunes themselves are a sight to see. The lake itself smells really really bad but its full of fish.

After 45 minutes of walking for a very nice place full of nature you arrive to a big sand landscape and after this the freshwater green colored Lake, amazing! There are many species of fish that you can see as the Catfish and some little...More

You walk to Lake Wabby around 30 minutes and then you get to the sand dunes- looks interesting! The water is sweet water with some small fish which would do your "pedicure" is you keep still. Also you can watch some bigger fish in there.

Be at the lake early, late or for lunchtime for peace and quiet - all the coach loads and tagalongs have gone! If you're driving, park at the inland track car park and walk to the lookout before heading down to the lake. Look out...More

This place was packed with travelers. But the lake was enough for everyone to swim and splash around. The bonus -- enjoy fish therapy for free!

There are 2 ways of getting there, both take a bit of energy .... quite a bit. My recommendation would be to go via the lookout. In fact I would just recommend viewing the lake from the lookout then moving onto the beach or Lake...More
