It is an amazing beach that is one place left on earth unspoilt by human development and I truly hope it stays that way. I saw baby lemon sharks and stingrays and much more in their pure natural environment.

I visited this beach two years ago and cannot see why it would be ranked so low by Tripadvisor guests. IT must be because very few people have had the opportunity to go there. It is a little difficult to get to because its on...More

We got married on Whitehaven beach, needless to say it would have been special no matter what the weather was, but the setting is simply stunning! We returned there about a week later to float in the calm waters... It was simply an experience I...More

As we walked along the 5km of beach we could constantly hear the sand squeak below our feet. The sand is so pure. The water contains amazing colors and it was hard to pull ourselves away from the beach. I've never scene a more beautiful...More

White means exactly that! Sand is like sugar! Under the sun, you must use dark glasses. Do not miss it if you go to Whitsundays coast! By the way, many things around Airlie Beach are part of heaven on earth!

We visited as part of a day cruise. Unfortunately it was an overcast day and a choppy ride to the beach. Once there the beach was picturesque, white sand and blue green water. Do not go without fly spray, the march flies are vicious. Equally...More

The most amazing beach to visit. Pure white sand and pristine water. A bucket list item ticked. Remember the sunscreen and hat, as not much shade . The view from the lookout is worth the walk at Hill Inlet, a true postcard vue.
