We left from Adelaide bus station at 9 am and travelled through farms and the wine country. Our first stop was one of the oldest wineries, Seppeltsfield Winery. We tasted a number of wines and explored the grounds and museum. Our second stop was a newer winery, Jacobs Creek. The guide explained the winemaking process and we tasted some wines.... More

This was a full day of information, fantastic sights with a bit of shopping thrown in. Gary, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and could answer all the questions we asked of him. Gary made this the great tour that it was.

Our coach driver Mike was great and full of local knowledge. There were no problems and I would certainly recommend booking trips with this company. We also used them for a trip to Kangaroo island which was also very good with another driver Dave

Nicholas, the wine ambassador for Jacobs Creek Winery, was so knowledgeable and animated as he described the history of the winery. He made it all come to life. If you're going there you need to make sure he's your guide!!! Everyone on our tour commented on how great he was.

My wife and I had a lovely day on this tour. Enjoyed the cruise on the Murray River. The buffet lunch was nice and the staff very friendly. The only thing i would improve on this tour is when we were driven to a place called Mannum nothing much to look at and had to stay there for an hour... More

Thank you for your feed back, we are so glad you enjoyed your time with Gray Line. The Riverboats on the Murray tour is a huge favorite, and very popular. The main attraction to see in the old Riverboat town of Mannum is the museum which tells the stories and the history of the Riverboat industry, and more importantly offers... More

Very disappointed in this overpriced Murray Riverboats lunch cruise -$A150. Greeted on board by tea and coffee, but if you wanted the real perc coffee it was $2.50, and you had to buy the souvenir $6 mug to put it in! The biscuits were cheap plain ones. The advertised 'extensive' lunch consisted of chicken pieces, cheap ham, small prawns, and... More

Hello there, thanks for taking time to present your view of our tour. It is disappointing that you came away with such concerns. I have spoken to my friends at Proud Mary, the well known River Boat on which we cruise the River Murray. They have kindly offered to clarify some of your points raised and for the interest of... Ive done food and wine tours in Italy.. France.. Tasmania and Victoria.. and this one has hands down been..the worst. We went to two vineyards and the third was lunch. The vineyards served nothing with the wine tastings, some cheese or crackers would have been nice and the tastings weren't great. In tassie for the same price, we visited 8... More

It is most unfortunate that you were so critical of our tour. The wonderful Grand Barossa tour is not a winery tour, nor a wine drinking tour. It is a sightseeing tour. Nowhere in our promotion of this great day out suggests we would aim to visit large numbers of wineries such as you experienced in Tasmania. We are proud... More

A great, hassle free way to see the Barossa Valley and experience some wine tasting with door to door pickup/drop off, a very knowledgable guide/driver and a good amount of time to wander the German village of Hahndorf on the return to Adelaide. Throw in a very nice lunch at Chateau Barossa and the day was complete. Thoroughly enjoyable.
