The service and food is excellent, it is a pleasure to dine there. The botanical gardens setting makes for a perfect experience. We dined as a group and all had positive things to say. A great place to enjoy lunch.

I went here around dusk, and watched the sunset! Gorgeous. Take a wander through this massive garden, and escape the city for a little while.

Well manicured rolling interesting landscape with labels on plants. Close to the wine exhibition building for a nibble or go over to the city. Great ambience

Spent a lovely walk in the gardens. Very well maintained and the staff are very nice. Lots of people around including city workers but not crowded.

It really depends where you are starting from, but once in Adelaide center, it's easy to get there on foot

Nearest pool would be Adelaide Aquatic Centre, North Adelaide. There is lots of water at The Botanic gardens, but no swimming. Although I have seen a You Tube of people surfing in the creeks mid winter!
