Visited a few times on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February. Victoria Square is in the centre of Adelaide and the trams and bus all seem to pass close to it. Not a lot to do in the square, most people just walk straight through it on there way somewhere else, like we did.

Centre of Adelaide you can cat the tram to and from this place and it’s free. Has some statues and a fountain at the northern end has skate board park. If you are going to China town or central markets you get off at this stop.

One of the capitals in Australia that boasts an open space right in the centre of the city. The wide roads and open spaces give this city lungs - they allow the air to circulate - you do not feel fenced in. While the square itself is often undergoing maintenance each time I go past it -this may be an indications of how much it is used - which is for more than just a tram stop. …

Visitied during the Tour Down Under. Busy, roads closed, lots of activity, but that is what is expected when you have the world stage watching a challenging first class bicycle race. The attraction for us is the nearby Central Markets, restaurants and cafes. Not to mention the beautiful fountain on the southside of the Square. Lovely…
